YouTube Premium Lite just got a huge upgrade — but I’m keeping the $14/month plan for 3 reasons

YouTube Premium Lite — Google’s excellent low-cost subscription for ad-free YouTube videos — got a couple of major upgrades this week.

In addition to removing ads from videos, Premium Lite now supports background playback and offline downloads. These two features were previously exclusive to the more expensive YouTube Premium tier, making the $8/month price for Premium Lite impossible to say no to.

The Galaxy M36 is Samsung’s latest M-series device and it was announced in India today. It brings a new design with the updated camera island but the specs are mostly in line with last year’s Galaxy M35. Samsung Galaxy M36 Galaxy M36 gets a 6.7-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and a waterdrop notch for its 13MP selfie camera. The back houses a 50MP main cam which is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro cam. Samsung went with its in-house Exynos 1380 chipset at the helm.
