There’s a ticking clock in your smart home, and we don’t just mean the one mounted on the wall, telling you it’s time to get started thinking about lunch. While it used to be that we could install a light switch or an outlet and not have to worry about them for years and years (if not decades), with smart home devices we’ve got to seriously consider the medium-to-long-term impact that software support threatens to have; will the hardware we install today just up and stop working a few years down the line?

The Galaxy M36 is Samsung’s latest M-series device and it was announced in India today. It brings a new design with the updated camera island but the specs are mostly in line with last year’s Galaxy M35. Samsung Galaxy M36 Galaxy M36 gets a 6.7-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and a waterdrop notch for its 13MP selfie camera. The back houses a 50MP main cam which is paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro cam. Samsung went with its in-house Exynos 1380 chipset at the helm.
